Ironton Vision Center
Response to COVID-19

We've been working hard to ensure the safety and health of our patients during these trying times. Following the recommendations for disease prevention in healthcare offices from the CDC and American Optometric Association, our already high standards for cleanliness have increased to be as proactive as possible for the health of our community while still treating and caring for our patients' everyday health needs.

Thank you,
Drs. Steven and Patrick Milleson & Staff of the Ironton Vision Center

When should you cancel your existing appointment?
1. If you are experiencing any respiratory symptoms, have a fever, or have been exposed to anyone with a confirmed case of COVID-19.
2. If you have been diagnosed within the last 48 hours with strep throat, the flu or a stomach virus.
3. If you have a compromised immune system, are part of an at-risk population, or if you are worried about being in the general population during this time.

Conjunctivitis (Red eyes) and COVID-19

There have been reported cases of CORONA VIRUS spreading through tears. Because of this, we will not be seeing any patients in our office who are experiencing red eyes and showing symptoms of COVID-19. Instead our doctors will assess these patients over the phone and will address their needs with medications when appropriate from their local pharmacy.

Thank you for working with us during this difficult time.
